LIDO DI JESOLO - is the biggest summer resort in the Venetian bay
with a 13 km long beach. It is 3 km far from the Jesolo town and 50 km southeast of Venice. Lido di
Jesolo is divided into 3 districts: Lido Est (Pineta), Lido Centro and Zona Ovest (Faro). Nowadays it
belongs to the most visited tourist centres - not only in Italy - thanks to its typical holiday atmosphere.
Along the whole town stretches a promenade with many restaurants, coffee bars, confectioneries,
shops, bars and discotheques. In the centre on Piazza Drago is a bus station - connection to
Venice. The visitors can use services of the Tourist Information Agency and facilities of an indoor
swimming pool / gym Palestra. For both children and adults there is a water park Aqualandia with
many slides, toboggans and other attractions that doubles the summer holiday atmosphere. The
holiday resort is ideal for families with children thanks to its sandy beaches that shelve gently into
the sea what makes the sea calmer. It offers many sport activities, such as go-cart track, golf
course or yachting. Young people will surely enjoy the lively atmosphere of the nightlife in Lido di
Jesolo – discos, bars, amusement parks, restaurants, shops – all open till late night. The travel
excitement and inflow of tourists is the greatest in July and August – expressing itself in the
mentioned specific holiday atmosphere.
